above: I designed and made this Alphorn pen and stand. The bell of the horn is the pencap.
The finished painted version may be seen below.

Here is a gallery of 3D Printing projects, made using Fusion 360, Tinkercad, Prusaslicer, and printed on a Prusa i3 MK3S printer.
I will post objects that I print, starting with the most recent prints and going back to my first print. The gfiles below were generated on PrusaSlicer and were generated with the intent to be printed on my Prusa i3MK3S with 0.4mm nozzle, I can't guarantee they will work on your printer or with your filament. I use Prusament Filament.
3D Printed Clamp for aligning laminations of the shaft of a paddle for Stand Up Paddleboarding: This fixed-jaw clamp will be used to ensure laminations of the long handle on a SUP paddle stay aligned during the glue-up process. Made for aligning laminations on 1.25" x 1.125" paddle shafts. Designed on Fusion 360, sliced on PrusaSlicr, 50% infill, Prusament PETG.
3D Printed Big Ghost: My daughter found this ghost on Thingiverse and first printed the little one seen further below. Then we printed this 8" (20cm) tall version. We printed this in PLA at 15% infill at .15quality and it took about 25hrs.
3D Printed Little Ghost: My daughter found this on Thingiverse and wanted it for Halloween. Printed in grey PLA and spray painted white, 2.5" tall.
3D Printed Nefertiti Bust: stock print file that came with the printer. Printed in PLA and spray painted gold.
3D Printed Castle: Stock print file that came with the printer. Printed in Prusamanet PLA.
3D Printed Handle for Roasting Spit; Designed on Fusion 360, Printed on Prusa i3 MK3S, Prusament PETG, 50% infill, .10 quality. I made the roasting spit below in my backyard blacksmith shop. The PETG has held up well against the temperature from the coals in this application.
3D Printed Filament Scrap Bin: PLA 100% infill .20 speed. I wanted a container small enough to put on the desk, that I could put scrap filament and scrap supports in. This is 80mm diameter and 90mm tall and has a removable top.
Clampy McClamperson! 3D Printed C Clamps. PETG 100% infill , .07 ultradetail. After printing the threaded parts, they must be chased with taps and dies. I designed 3 sizes. I designed these clamps be able to be self supporting on all sides (except the side that the threaded rod comes out of). I printed the threaded rods of these clamps horizontally so that the laminations ran the length of the threaded rod. Then I trimmed and chased the interior and exterior threads with taps and dies; cutting oil was needed to avoid snapping the rods during the chasing of the OD threads.
A tap and die for M9x1.25 thread are needed to complete the clamp using the print files below:
3D Printed Oktoberfest Pretzel Pins, for lapels or a hat. These were fun to make. The metal pin and rubber pin-back are from Amazon and I glued them to the pretzel with Devcon Weld-It clear adhesive. I made a little pretzel shaped box for them also, and brought them to an Oktoberfest Party (outside party and because it's 2020 I had the 'ole canister of sanitizer for people to use before grabbing a pin).
3D Benchy, I decided to print some objects that I did not design, including this little boat.
3D Printed Play Tea Pot, 8mm long, designed on Fusion 360 by my 12 year old.
Tea Pot, design in Fusion 360, Prusaslicer, Prusament PLA, 50% infill, .07mm detail. My 8 year old arrived at the printer and accelerated the print speed a couple times during printing which changed the look of the print. In these sections she sped it up to as high as 600% print speed, and when I caught this I returned it to 100%. This is a hollow tea pot, with hollow spout, function for play. The photo is of the parts with no sanding or finishing afgter printing.
Dress Shop, called "Shine" , designed by my 8 year old. The clothes rack rod is metal, I added that to the model after it printed.
3D Printed Alphorn Pen with Stand. I built and play an actual alphorn, build log here. And I wanted to design and print one. The real alphorn is 12' 6" long, the pen is 1/14 scale. The pen is printed in 3 pieces: Cap, tip, and body. The tip threads onto the body to hold the ink cartidge (Caran d'Ache Goliath refill). The stand is printed in 1 piece.
3D Printed Anvil. Scale replica of my Kanca anvil. You can check out my blacksmithing page here
3D Printed Smoke Detector Spacer Ring. Used to provide space for wires when mounting the smoke detector under a shelf above my printer. There is a small notch for the wires to exit the ring.
3D Printed Soap Dish
3D Printed Bison Cookie Cutter
Bison cookie cutter. Designed on Fusion 360, printed with Prusament PLA filament, 100% infill, .07 detail. We drove to Custer State Park in South Dakota this year and saw huge herds of these majestic animals. This is the first self-designed object I printed and it was a nice simple print to start with.
Prusa name tag , 1st test print after assembling the printer.
